The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Vallman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sture Holmberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Hugo Vallman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kåre Strandberg got free with Hugo Vallman in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Sverker Erserman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aleksander Berg's late challenge caught a Ekeby RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
