Wiktor Gulliksson hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. When %teams%'s Sverker Erserman was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-0 just inside the left pole, 10 minutes into the game. Stig-Ove Dahlberg was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Kåre Strandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute of the match, Kåre Strandberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stig-Ove Dahlberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ekeby RK's goalkeeper Bertil Östman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Kåre Strandberg notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Teckomatorp RK's Stig-Ove Dahlberg. Stig-Ove Dahlberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sverker Erserman to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Teckomatorp RK's goalkeeper Stig-Ove Dahlberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stig-Ove Dahlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kåre Strandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Per-Olof Dalström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertil Östman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teckomatorp RK's Stig-Ove Dahlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sverker Erserman in the 67th minute of play. Ekeby RK's Sverker Erserman got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Sverker Erserman put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Stig-Ove Dahlberg. Kåre Strandberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stig-Ove Dahlberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Teckomatorp RK's goal looked a bit too open when Sverker Erserman came free, but Stig-Ove Dahlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kåre Strandberg scored 4-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stig-Ove Dahlberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Per-Olof Dalström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teckomatorp RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Olof Dalström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
