Manfred Sellberg's late challenge caught a Hedesunda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manfred Sellberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute of the match Lennart Billvall sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albin Lindberg skillfully saved the ball. When Maestro fc's Sven-Olof Ekeberg in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hedesunda's goalie prevented a goal. In the 8th minute, Jens-Ove Lindgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Hedesunda defense, Stig-Åke Svanberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruud van Nistelrooij. The Hedesunda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruud van Nistelrooij should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute Sven-Olof Kjellkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albin Lindberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Olof Kjellkvist in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albin Lindberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 22 minutes, Karl-Johan Siggman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hedesunda and the Maestro fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hedesunda's Karl-Johan Siggman got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Stig-Åke Svanberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Ruud van Nistelrooij made a huge save. Ruud van Nistelrooij made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig-Åke Svanberg in the 34th minute. After 36 played minutes Maestro fc got a freekick which was hit by Manfred Sellberg. Stig-Åke Svanberg struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Ruud van Nistelrooij didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maestro fc. Karl-Johan Siggman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sven-Olof Kjellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven-Olof Kjellkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ruud van Nistelrooij came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Maestro fc's Stig-Åke Svanberg. But to his dismay, Stig-Åke Svanberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Sven-Olof Ekeberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Maestro fc defense, Karl-Johan Siggman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albin Lindberg. The Maestro fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albin Lindberg should have stopped the shot. 68 minutes into the game, Jens-Ove Lindgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hedesunda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maestro fc the free kick. In the 68th minute, Jens-Ove Lindgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Johan Siggman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viktor Olsson hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Maestro fc's Albin Lindberg got control of the ball when Karl-Johan Siggman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute Stig-Åke Svanberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruud van Nistelrooij saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albin Lindberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Olof Kjellkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the game, Sven-Olof Ekeberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maestro fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hedesunda the free kick. Hedesunda's Karl-Johan Siggman got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven-Olof Ekeberg hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The nice shot from Karl-Johan Siggman in the 88thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Albin Lindberg had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Albin Lindberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Olof Kjellkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Karl-Johan Siggman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hedesunda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Johan Siggman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
