The Viktor Lundin was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kent Finsberg during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kent Finsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When Dutch FC's Börje Koch in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lidingö IFK's goalie prevented a goal. Lidingö IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dutch FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lidingö IFK's Sven-Erik Utfal got a free kick in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Pål Kihlman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dutch FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lidingö IFK the free kick. After 22 played minutes Dutch FC got a freekick which was hit by Pål Kihlman. Viktor Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Koch in the 28th minute of play. Ludvig Bålström hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Dutch FC's Torbjörn Bruse couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lidingö IFK. Viktor Lundin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Börje Koch's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Ian Tönnberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Viktor Lundin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ian Tönnberg ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Tönnberg in the 38th minute of play forced Lidingö IFK's goalkeeper Viktor Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kent Finsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dan Deckberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ian Tönnberg in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viktor Lundin saved Lidingö IFK from getting behind. Börje Koch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Lundin having to interfere. If Ian Tönnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Lidingö IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Tönnberg came free, but Viktor Lundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dutch FC's Börje Koch got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Dutch FC's Ian Tönnberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viktor Lundin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pål Kihlman hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Börje Koch in the 80th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Svante Åström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Erik Utfal, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd match minute, Dutch FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pål Kihlman to maneuver through the defense. Viktor Lundin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Börje Koch in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute Ian Tönnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Lundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Dutch FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Tönnberg to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Dutch FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lidingö IFK throughout the match.
