Viktor Lundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Rosin in the 16th minute of the match. Viktor Lundin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Rosin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Deckberg was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Lidingö IFK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Dan Deckberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Petter Pilberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lidingö IFK! Tomas Hultman placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lidingö IFK's goalkeeper Viktor Lundin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jan-Ove Klint might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Viktor Lundin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Ove Klint ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Rosin in the 47th minute of play forced Lidingö IFK's goalkeeper Viktor Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dan Deckberg made a kick off. 59 minutes in the game, Jan-Ove Klint fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Viktor Lundin having to interfere. Alf Rosin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Lundin having to interfere. When Henning Bruse fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lidingö IFK's protests and gave Henning Bruse a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Alf Rosin took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Viktor Lundin to make any attempt to save it. Dan Deckberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Petter Pilberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viktor Lundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Rosin in the 85th minute of the match. When Sven-Erik Utfal came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Lidingö IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Erik Utfal couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Ludvig Bålström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
