Timmy Blomqvist hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Kjell Fagerberg struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Tom Zachrisson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Virestad. Sven Caspersson kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 17 minutes, Jack Söderberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Råkurr FF and the Virestad players grew even worse after the yellow card. 18 minutes into the match, Råkurr FF's goalkeeper Tom Zachrisson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Ivarsson. Lars Holmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Hjalmar Ambjörnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Råkurr FF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kjell Fagerberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Virestad's zone, Lars Holmberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hjalmar Ambjörnsson came out of the goal and Lars Holmberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven Caspersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hjalmar Ambjörnsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Råkurr FF's Lars Holmberg got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Virestad's Hjalmar Ambjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Holmberg in the 41st minute of play. Axel Månsson hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Kjell Fagerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Zachrisson having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lars Holmberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lars Holmberg in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hjalmar Ambjörnsson saved Virestad from getting behind. After 55 minutes, Sven Caspersson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Råkurr FF and the Virestad players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tomas Ivarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Zachrisson having to interfere. Tomas Ivarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Ivarsson's late challenge caught a Råkurr FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Ivarsson helped the player get up and apologised. Tomas Ivarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Virestad's goalkeeper Hjalmar Ambjörnsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars Holmberg. After a rather tough play, Virestad's Axel Månsson got a free kick in the 69th minute. A collision led to Råkurr FF getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Orvar Ahlerot hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the game, Virestad's Tomas Ivarsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tom Zachrisson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Sven Caspersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tom Zachrisson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Ivarsson in the 92nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Råkurr FF defense, Tomas Ivarsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tom Zachrisson. The Råkurr FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tom Zachrisson should have stopped the shot. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Virestad were victorious despite being under pressure from Råkurr FF for much of the match.
