Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Marko Falkrans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Brenner having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Marko Falkrans took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Adrian Brenner to make any attempt to save it. Robin Kullander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludvig Glad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunnar Söderberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Brenner having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Marko Falkrans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Brenner was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Gunnar Söderberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Brenner having to interfere. Kenny Andreasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 29th minute Kenny Andreasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Kullander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Marko Falkrans kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adrian Brenner. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. Robin Kullander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenny Andreasson in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Andreasson in the 36th minute of play forced Grimstorp BK's goalkeeper Robin Kullander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnar Söderberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gunnar Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Bäckström got free with Adrian Brenner in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robin Kullander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ludvig Glad's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Kenny Andreasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marko Falkrans to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Grimstorp BK's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Andreasson came free, but Robin Kullander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Kenny Andreasson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Gunnar Söderberg came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Grimstorp BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gunnar Söderberg couldn't finish the play. Kenny Danielsson's late challenge caught a Grimstorp BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenny Danielsson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bettna's Kenny Danielsson got a free kick in the 59th minute. Adrian Brenner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marko Falkrans, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Grimstorp BK's Gunnar Söderberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrian Brenner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ludvig Glad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Gunnar Söderberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Brenner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Brenner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Grimstorp BK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bettna had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
