In the 7th match minute, Hallsberg RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Berglund to maneuver through the defense. Rune Åhman struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Per-Åke Linquist charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Per-Åke Linquist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Hårsfjärden's Per-Åke Linquist got a free kick in the 14th minute. When Gottfrid Colin came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Hallsberg RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gottfrid Colin couldn't finish the play. Gottfrid Colin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Holmberg having to interfere. Rune Åhman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Kjell-Arne Vennerkvist made a huge save. In the 24th minute, Aaron Finnman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kjell-Arne Vennerkvist. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 36th minute, Per-Åke Linquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute of the match Anton Gallberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christer Holmberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rune Åhman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zebastian Lustig made a kick off. The supporters of Hallsberg RK booed when Hårsfjärden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Fransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Hallsberg RK fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Hallsberg RK's Gottfrid Colin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Finnman during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zebastian Lustig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Anton Gallberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hallsberg RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hårsfjärden the free kick. After 70 played minutes Hallsberg RK got a freekick which was hit by Anton Gallberg. After 77 minutes of play, Hårsfjärden's Per-Åke Linquist made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kjell-Arne Vennerkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Zebastian Lustig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. Hårsfjärden's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
