Tony Edström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henric Nordgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ulrik Björck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Edström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torsten Hellström's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Per-Åke Åkesson got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.

Hunnebostrand's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bergshamra the free kick. After 87 played minutes Hunnebostrand got a freekick which was hit by Henric Nordgren. Torsten Hellström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute.
