Bengt Lang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valter Strömqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Bengt Lang didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Charlie Engström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Bengt Lang when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 18th minute, Valter Strömqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. John Vikström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bertil Hult went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 26th match minute, Bunkeflostrand IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicklas Ekman to maneuver through the defense. John Vikström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Dahlqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joakim Brandt hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Bertil Hult fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Vikström having to interfere. Stefan Lundqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. John Vikström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Charlie Engström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Sågmyra IF booed when Bunkeflostrand IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Lindgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Stefan Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stefan Lundqvist was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Bertil Hult managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sågmyra IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertil Hult was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Vikström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the game, Nils Isaksson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sågmyra IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bunkeflostrand IK the free kick. After 66 played minutes Sågmyra IF got a freekick which was hit by Nils Isaksson. Bunkeflostrand IK's Alex Kilstedt couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sågmyra IF. Valter Strömqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valter Strömqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bengt Lang having to make a save. If Charlie Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes in the game, Stefan Lundqvist fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without John Vikström having to interfere. Valter Strömqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bunkeflostrand IK's Nicklas Ekman got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joakim Dahlqvist hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Bunkeflostrand IK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
