Joakim Brandt's late challenge caught a Smycke IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joakim Brandt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 2nd minute, Joakim Brandt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sivert Lönn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valter Strömqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sivert Lönn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charlie Engström in the 9th minute. Valter Strömqvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sivert Lönn came out and tried to block the shot, but Valter Strömqvist slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Erik Fågel in the 17th minute of play forced Bunkeflostrand IK's goalkeeper John Vikström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Joakim Grönberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. John Vikström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. John Vikström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Erik Fågel in the 26th minute of play. If Joakim Grönberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joakim Brandt was shown his second yellow card after 28 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 28th minute, Joakim Brandt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute of the match Dennis Bryngelsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but John Vikström skillfully saved the ball. If Joakim Grönberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per-Erik Fågel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Bunkeflostrand IK's Valter Strömqvist got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Charlie Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joakim Grönberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Vikström having to interfere. The supporters of Bunkeflostrand IK booed when Smycke IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Enegren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valter Strömqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Per-Erik Fågel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Joakim Grönberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Per-Erik Fågel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. John Vikström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Smycke IF's goalkeeper Sivert Lönn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. John Vikström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Erik Fågel, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute.
