Ivan Trillkott hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Lukas Törnkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolf Skarkman having to make a save. Rolf Skarkman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lukas Törnkvist in the 7th minute. Lukas Törnkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Skarkman having to interfere. Vidar Åkerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Robin Siggesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute, Marcus Tidén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Peter Boman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Team Lycksele's Rolf Skarkman didn't even have to move. Rolf Skarkman was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Robin Siggesson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Robin Siggesson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Team Lycksele's Rolf Skarkman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Team Lycksele from getting a goal against them. After 30 played minutes Team Lycksele got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Asklöv. Carl Möller charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carl Möller the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes Vattholma got a freekick which was hit by Carl Möller. Lukas Törnkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Rolf Skarkman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolf Skarkman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Siggesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viktor Tidén came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Team Lycksele's Vidar Åkerberg. But to his dismay, Vidar Åkerberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lars Bokelund to strike the kick off in the second half. Birger Odman hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Vidar Åkerberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 62nd playminute. In the 68th minute, Robin Siggesson made a precise shot to the right of Rolf Skarkman. Team Lycksele's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Team Lycksele's goalkeeper Rolf Skarkman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 78 minutes, Ivan Trillkott mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Team Lycksele and the Vattholma players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vattholma booed when Team Lycksele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Trillkott didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Siggesson in the 81st minute of play forced Team Lycksele's goalkeeper Rolf Skarkman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Vattholma's goal looked a bit too open when Vidar Åkerberg came free, but Viktor Tidén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolf Skarkman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Siggesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Robin Siggesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Rolf Skarkman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lukas Törnkvist struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Rolf Skarkman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vattholma. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Vattholma players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
