Charles Willig was a little too slow when Frans Pilberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-1. With his leg Charles Willig managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Olofström's Bengt-Åke Fransson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Älmestad BK getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Robin Andberg hit a great ball. The supporters of Älmestad BK booed when Olofström was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pål Runberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charles Willig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frans Pilberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernt Colin hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Charles Willig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Åke Fransson in the 40th minute. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
