Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fredrik Lundhberg started the match with the kick off. Olov Botvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isak Dalström, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Grödinge's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Lundhberg came free, but Rikard Bryngelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olov Botvidsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isak Dalström's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute, Torbjörn Snell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Väderkvarnen IK's Knut Axelsson got a free kick in the 13th minute. Grödinge's Erik Brun couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Väderkvarnen IK. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jack Vennerberg in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olov Botvidsson saved Väderkvarnen IK from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Fredrik Lundhberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Väderkvarnen IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredrik Lundhberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rikard Bryngelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jack Vennerberg in the 21st minute of play forced Väderkvarnen IK's goalkeeper Olov Botvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isak Dalström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th match minute, Väderkvarnen IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pontus Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Grödinge's goalkeeper Rikard Bryngelsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pontus Lindqvist. Fredrik Lundhberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rikard Bryngelsson having to make a save. The supporters of Väderkvarnen IK booed when Grödinge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melker Påk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olov Botvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isak Dalström in the 36th minute of play. If Jack Vennerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olov Botvidsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isak Dalström in the 45th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isak Dalström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fredrik Lundhberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Rikard Bryngelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fredrik Lundhberg came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Väderkvarnen IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fredrik Lundhberg couldn't finish the play. After taking down the ball on Grödinge's corner Måns Pihlblad fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Olov Botvidsson quite easily take care of the ball. Hubert Björnberg struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Olov Botvidsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grödinge. After 90 played minutes Väderkvarnen IK got a freekick which was hit by Knut Axelsson. Jack Vennerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Grödinge walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
