The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henning Olsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Jan-Olof Påk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Näshulta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Olof Påk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anton Johansson in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bertil Nordkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Börje Petersson's late challenge caught a Näshulta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Börje Petersson helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Fårbo FK got a freekick which was hit by Börje Petersson. Anton Johansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Bertil Nordkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Stig Caspersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emanuel Dalgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Fårbo FK's Bertil Nordkvist got control of the ball when Jan-Olof Påk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bertil Nordkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Johansson in the 26th minute of the match. Jan-Olof Påk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Bertil Nordkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henning Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sakarias Östensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jan-Olof Påk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Anton Johansson made the kick off in the second half. Leif Ersman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Nordkvist having to interfere. If Anton Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pontus Stor made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Näshulta's Björn Ljungberg. If Björn Ljungberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Olof Påk struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Bertil Nordkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Näshulta. Fårbo FK's Bertil Nordkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Johansson in the 82nd minute of play. Henry Bocklund hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Näshulta had played much better football throughout.
