When Quelli Azzurri's Egon Britz in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Quelli Azzurri's zone, Sakarias Östensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingmar Petersson came out of the goal and Sakarias Östensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gottfrid Österberg fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quelli Azzurri's protests and gave Gottfrid Österberg a yellow card for diving instead. Gottfrid Österberg hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Sakarias Östensson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fårbo FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sakarias Östensson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sören Löfskog hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When Quelli Azzurri's Egon Britz in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fårbo FK's goalie prevented a goal. Egon Britz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bertil Nordkvist having to make a save. In the 41st minute, Stig Caspersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Quelli Azzurri's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Petersson came free, but Ingmar Petersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Egon Britz to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Quelli Azzurri booed when Fårbo FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Jakobsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Tomasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Börje Petersson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ingmar Petersson. Börje Petersson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Fårbo FK's Börje Petersson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ingmar Petersson. That made the score 0-2 after 61 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sakarias Östensson got free with Ingmar Petersson in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute Börje Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingmar Petersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sakarias Östensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ingmar Petersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nils Alkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Fårbo FK got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Åke Koch. In the 75th minute Egon Britz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertil Nordkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Fårbo FK defense, Gottfrid Österberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bertil Nordkvist. The Fårbo FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bertil Nordkvist should have stopped the shot. Ingmar Petersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börje Petersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egon Britz in the 84th minute of play forced Fårbo FK's goalkeeper Bertil Nordkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Staffan Kullgren hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fårbo FK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
