The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 played minutes Tystberga FF got a freekick which was hit by Arne Odén. In the 13th minute, Gustav Asklund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hammar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Hammar's Gustav Asklund got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henrik Wiman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Melker Forsell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tystberga FF's Melker Forsell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Asklund in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Tystberga FF booed when Hammar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert Fors didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tystberga FF were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Hammar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Lundqvist took the corner. Joel Lundqvist made a great header on Tystberga FF's corner, it was just that Hammar's Henning Säf managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Hammar getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Viggo Ersman hit a great ball. Henning Säf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kent Söder in the 38th minute. Gustav Asklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Linus Brask struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Melker Forsell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hammar. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hammar's goalkeeper Henning Säf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Henning Säf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Söder in the 52nd minute of play. Hammar's Gustav Asklund got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute Johan Holm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Säf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hammar's zone, Kent Söder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henning Säf came out of the goal and Kent Söder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kent Söder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrik Wiman during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Henning Säf didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kent Söder went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 84th minute Markus Söderman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melker Forsell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kent Söder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henning Säf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johan Holm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henning Säf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petter Lindström, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Henning Säf didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johan Holm went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Hammar's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
