Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sakarias Billing kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sture Lundkvist in the 9th minute of play forced Fiffel FC's goalkeeper Göran Holmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Sture Lundkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göran Holmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fredrik Hjortsberg fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vara's protests and gave Fredrik Hjortsberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Vara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Hjortsberg to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Fiffel FC's Anders Lindström tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Fredrik Hjortsberg was shown his second yellow card after 16 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Vara getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Fredrik Hjortsberg hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match Anders Lindström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexander Fredriksson skillfully saved the ball. If Sten Persson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Åkesson in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match, Sten Persson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alexander Fredriksson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sten Persson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Alexander Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eskil Kalfhage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vara's Sakarias Billing suffered a sore thigh after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Hans Åkesson charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hans Åkesson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Fiffel FC's Hans Åkesson got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 46th minute of the match, Eskil Kalfhage got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alexander Fredriksson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Vara's Sture Lundkvist got a free kick in the 47th minute. When Eskil Kalfhage came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Fiffel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eskil Kalfhage couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sten Persson made a kick off. A collision led to Vara getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Klas Ahlroth hit a great ball. After 55 played minutes, Fiffel FC's Anders Lindström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexander Fredriksson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fiffel FC reached it. In the 56th minute, Eskil Kalfhage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Vara getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Albert Malmberg hit a great ball. Sten Persson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Alexander Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Einar Kjellman charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Einar Kjellman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes Vara got a freekick which was hit by Einar Kjellman. Sten Persson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Alexander Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Fredriksson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sten Persson went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Fiffel FC's Sten Persson got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eskil Kalfhage might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Fredriksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eskil Kalfhage ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Sigvard Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vara's supporters rose to their feet, but Sigvard Fransson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göran Holmberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexander Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Persson in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Einar Kjellman in the 83rd minute of play forced Fiffel FC's goalkeeper Göran Holmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans Åkesson took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Fredriksson. Alexander Fredriksson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Alexander Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eskil Kalfhage in the 93rd minute of play. Sten Persson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fiffel FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
