Lofsdalen's Jon Odin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Dahlberg in the 9th minute of play. Sture Strömbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jerry Frisck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerry Frisck was a little too slow when Pål Blanck got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. 18 minutes into the game, Pål Blanck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jerry Frisck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jerry Frisck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pål Blanck, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sture Strömbom got free with Jerry Frisck in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute Pål Blanck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Frisck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
