Andy Spets didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rutger Modig went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Gert Hegg fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Käringön's protests and gave Gert Hegg a yellow card for diving instead. Gert Hegg hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Dennis Finnman made a precise shot to the right of Erland Jansson. Käringön's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Kristoffer Hedvall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Erland Jansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Elliot Rudberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andreas Stenkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Spets having to interfere. The supporters of Men skjut då! booed when Käringön was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Viklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes, Men skjut då!'s Eric Dalberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erland Jansson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Men skjut då! reached it. If Kristoffer Hedvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute Dennis Finnman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erland Jansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andy Spets came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Käringön's Rutger Modig. But to his dismay, Rutger Modig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 42 minutes into the match, Bengt-Rune Gustafsson notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Men skjut då!'s Andy Spets. Andy Spets was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kenny Mellbad was the one to do the kick off. Käringön's Erland Jansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Mellbad in the 55th minute of play. Kenny Mellbad succeeded in the game's 63rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-3. If Kenny Mellbad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 72 minutes, Rutger Modig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Käringön's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rutger Modig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 75 minutes, Kristoffer Hedvall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Andy Spets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Stenkvist in the 95th minute of the match. Andreas Stenkvist struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Andy Spets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Käringön. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
