In the 4th minute, Storlien BF's Jakob Hedling ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Greger Hagström. Greger Hagström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Storlien BF's Jakob Hedling in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BK Stolpskott's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of BK Stolpskott booed when Storlien BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Sjö didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kurt Brun's late challenge caught a Storlien BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kurt Brun helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to BK Stolpskott getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Kurt Brun hit a great ball. Michael Frisk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Lindholm in the 29th minute of play. Sören Rydelius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Michael Frisk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Stig Stenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Storlien BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig Stenberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Greger Hagström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jakob Hedling to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Storlien BF's Stig Stenberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Greger Hagström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 61st minute, BK Stolpskott's Sören Rydelius dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Stig Stenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolf Hedlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greger Hagström having to interfere. Karl-Johan Vallman, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rolf Hedlund charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rolf Hedlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Michael Frisk made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Sören Rydelius sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jakob Hedling in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Greger Hagström saved BK Stolpskott from getting behind. Stig Stenberg scored 3-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Greger Hagström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Storlien BF's Jakob Hedling suffered a concussion in the 94th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 94 minutes into the game, Vincent Ahlroth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BK Stolpskott's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Storlien BF the free kick. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for BK Stolpskott! There was no doubt that Storlien BF were the better team. Storlien BF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
