In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Johannishus's goalkeeper Agne Gulliksson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Åkerström in the 17th minute of play forced Ljungby IFK's goalkeeper Christian Blomqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melker Linberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ljungby IFK's goalkeeper Christian Blomqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 59 played minutes Johannishus got a freekick which was hit by Ove Lindgren. 63 minutes into the match, Klas Josefsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Blomqvist. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Rosin couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute, Jonatan Åkerström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 78 minutes, Ingvar Fogel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ljungby IFK and the Johannishus players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Jonatan Åkerström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Blomqvist was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ljungby IFK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
