Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Virsbo's Joar Gunnarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joar Gunnarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Harbo! After 23 played minutes Virsbo got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Arne Ahlkvist. 24 minutes into the game, Kurt Danielsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Virsbo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harbo the free kick. In the 25th minute, Charles Lindsten fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 26th minute, Charles Lindsten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rune Vestberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Verner Grubb having to interfere. Harbo's Roy Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joar Gunnarsson in the 33rd minute of play. When Rune Vestberg came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Harbo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rune Vestberg couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the game, Alfons Skager was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Virsbo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harbo the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Virsbo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! In the 41st minute, Harbo got a penalty, and Eric Söderberg placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. The audience was convinced that Joar Gunnarsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roy Forsberg was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charles Lindsten was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charles Lindsten in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Verner Grubb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rune Vestberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles Lindsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Virsbo getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Kurt Danielsson hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Harbo's Rune Vestberg got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Joar Gunnarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Forsberg having to interfere. The supporters of Harbo booed when Virsbo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Walroth didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Virsbo's Ludvig Hedlund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roy Forsberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roy Forsberg made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Ludvig Hedlund sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th of the match, Joar Gunnarsson tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Roy Forsberg got in the way and made a wonderful save. Joar Gunnarsson struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Roy Forsberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Virsbo. Charles Lindsten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Verner Grubb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Virsbo players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
