Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Loftahammar IK's Ralf Bolin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Allan Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Malmberg in the 6th minute of play. Tord Falk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roger Malmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the game, Ralf Bolin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ture Böcklund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ringarum's Roger Malmberg in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Loftahammar IK's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralf Bolin in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ture Böcklund saved Ringarum from getting behind. Ringarum's Ture Böcklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvar Bäckman in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Ringarum booed when Loftahammar IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Helström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Malmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Malmberg in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Alvar Bäckman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loftahammar IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvar Bäckman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tord Falks short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Allan Lundgren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Bolin in the 34th minute of play forced Ringarum's goalkeeper Ture Böcklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan Lundgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Malmberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 47 played minutes Loftahammar IK got a freekick which was hit by Holger Säfström. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roger Malmberg was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Loftahammar IK's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Falk came free, but Allan Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ture Böcklund made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Alvar Bäckman sent off a good shot on target. Ralf Bolin hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Tord Falk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Lundgren having to interfere. If Roger Malmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, one of Loftahammar IK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ture Böcklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvar Bäckman in the 75th minute. Ringarum's Ture Böcklund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Ringarum from getting a goal against them. Ture Böcklund made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Alvar Bäckman sent off a good shot on target. If Tord Falk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ringarum booed when Loftahammar IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Helström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ringarum's Roger Malmberg got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Tord Falk came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Ringarum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tord Falk couldn't finish the play. Ture Böcklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Bolin in the 98th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ralf Bolin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ture Böcklund. That made the score 4-2 in the 99 minute of play. Ringarum's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
