Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gråbo's Pontus Hernström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Fabian Mellberg came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Linghem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Mellberg couldn't finish the play. If Börje Groth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 played minutes Gråbo got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Friberger. Börje Groth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Dennis Brandin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Börje Groth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th match minute, Gråbo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Andersson to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Börje Groth in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dennis Brandin saved Gråbo from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, Gråbo's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Groth came free, but Dennis Brandin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25th play minutes Reine Forss shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Gustaf Deckberg and just under the crossbar into goal. If Pontus Hernström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Reine Forss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Pontus Hernström in the 40th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Reine Forss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustaf Deckberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pontus Hernström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabian Mellberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Pontus Hernström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Linghem's Gustaf Deckberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 54th minute, Ulf Rydberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reine Forss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gustaf Deckberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Linghem's Gustaf Deckberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pontus Hernström in the 62nd minute of play. If Reine Forss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pontus Hernström in the 70th minute of play forced Linghem's goalkeeper Gustaf Deckberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulf Rydberg's late challenge caught a Gråbo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulf Rydberg helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Linghem getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ulf Rydberg hit a great ball. Linghem's Christian Nilsson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dennis Brandin but with some difficulty. After having played for 83 minutes, Fabian Mellberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linghem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Mellberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute Pontus Hernström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Deckberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reine Forss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reine Forss took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustaf Deckberg. Gustaf Deckberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. There was no doubt that Gråbo were the better team. Gråbo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
