Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Blårändernas if's Rickard Alkvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rickard Alkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 5 played minutes Blårändernas if got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Majman. Per-Åke Persson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingemar Edström in the 7th minute. Eric Fristedt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per-Åke Persson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Blårändernas if's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ingemar Edström fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingemar Edström got free with Per-Åke Persson in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Blårändernas if's Kurt Beck got a free kick in the 18th minute. Ingemar Edström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Per-Åke Persson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Harry Gudmundsson hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Dan Västerstrand shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Per-Åke Persson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Blårändernas if's zone, Eric Fristedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Åke Persson came out of the goal and Eric Fristedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ingemar Edström in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Per-Åke Persson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 35 minutes into the match, Veggies VV's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Alkvist came free, but Johan Sigfridsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yngve Brenner kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ingemar Edström to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Ingemar Edström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per-Åke Persson was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 56th minute of the match Karl-Åke Lindkvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Per-Åke Persson skillfully saved the ball. In the 60th minute, Blårändernas if's Rickard Alkvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Ingemar Edström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Per-Åke Persson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Veggies VV's Ingemar Edström got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 77 played minutes Blårändernas if got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Beck. Thanks to some nice moves Kurt Beck could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Johan Sigfridsson however easily saved by the left post. 89 minutes into the game, one of Blårändernas if:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ingemar Edström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Per-Åke Persson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute of the match Sverker Lund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johan Sigfridsson skillfully saved the ball. Veggies VV were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
