Väddö's Gilbert Anundsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elof Hammarberg in the 10th minute of play. Björn Springfält's late challenge caught a Väddö's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A collision led to Bruzaholm getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Johnny Pettersson hit a great ball. Christer Hammarström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elof Hammarberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Anundsson having to interfere. In the 64th minute Åke Hernström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sune Pihlgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruzaholm's Björn Springfält got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Björn Springfält off the ground.
