After a rather tough play, Bruzaholm's Olof Gallberg got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 3rd play minutes Bernt Salqvist shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Sune Pihlgren and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Salqvist in the 7th minute of play forced Bruzaholm's goalkeeper Sune Pihlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Victor Sundling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikael Sundin kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Josef Qvalfeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elof Hammarberg in the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of Bruzaholm booed when FC Pungspark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börge Pihlwall didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Bruzaholm getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Elof Hammarberg hit a great ball. Victor Sundling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sune Pihlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, one of Bruzaholm:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for FC Pungspark. Viktor Ivarsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sune Pihlgren. 0-2. Elof Hammarberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josef Qvalfeldt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Björn Springfält went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elof Hammarberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Bernt Salqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sune Pihlgren having to interfere. When Elof Hammarberg came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Bruzaholm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elof Hammarberg couldn't finish the play. Andy Ferm hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute Knut Söderström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Qvalfeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elof Hammarberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Bruzaholm's goalkeeper Sune Pihlgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernt Salqvist. After 70 played minutes Bruzaholm got a freekick which was hit by Olof Gallberg. In the 72nd minute Elof Hammarberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Qvalfeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bruzaholm's goalkeeper Sune Pihlgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC Pungspark's zone, Elof Hammarberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josef Qvalfeldt came out of the goal and Elof Hammarberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victor Sundling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sune Pihlgren having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Knut Söderström in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josef Qvalfeldt saved FC Pungspark from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Bruzaholm's Kurt Sundén got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The FC Pungspark supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Pungspark would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
