Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bengt-Rune Isaksson kicked off to start the match. In the 6th match minute, Skövde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Oskar Lind to maneuver through the defense. Folke Tunström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eskil Sandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eskil Sandberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eskil Sandberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Tunström having to interfere. Knut Ståhlman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Tunström having to interfere. Eric Lundhberg charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eric Lundhberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Knut Ståhlman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Dalkurd FF's zone, Knut Ståhlman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folke Tunström came out of the goal and Knut Ståhlman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Axel Askstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. A hard shot by Eric Lundhberg from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Melker Borre's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Eskil Sandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Gunnarsson charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Gunnarsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Ståhlman in the 35th minute of play forced Dalkurd FF's goalkeeper Folke Tunström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Knut Ståhlman made a precise shot to the right of Folke Tunström. Dalkurd FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Bengt-Rune Isaksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melker Borre made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Vincent Månsson sent off a good shot on target. Sven-Oskar Lind's late challenge caught a Dalkurd FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven-Oskar Lind helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Skövde FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Sven-Oskar Lind hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eskil Sandberg to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Dalkurd FF booed when Skövde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Sundling didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vincent Månsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melker Borre having to interfere. Skövde FC's Melker Borre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Månsson in the 57th minute of play. After 59 minutes of play, Dalkurd FF's Vincent Månsson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melker Borre was left in no man's land by his defense there! Axel Askstedt got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Melker Borre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Månsson in the 66th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vincent Månsson in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melker Borre saved Skövde FC from getting behind. Melker Borre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vincent Månsson's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Melker Borre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Månsson in the 80th minute of the match. Emil Mellberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Melker Borre. Skövde FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kent Kvarnström hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. If Vincent Månsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Dalkurd FF's Vincent Månsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melker Borre narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
