After 11 played minutes Bengt-Rune Isaksson rounded Ninjas In Pyjamas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. The supporters of Dalkurd FF booed when Ninjas In Pyjamas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Erik Kämpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Ninjas In Pyjamas's David Ahlqvist got control of the ball when Vincent Månsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Ninjas In Pyjamas's goalkeeper David Ahlqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vincent Månsson. Bengt-Rune Isaksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Ahlqvist having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Lundhberg got free with David Ahlqvist in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Isaksson in the 37th minute of play. David Ahlqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Rune Isaksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt-Rune Isaksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Ninjas In Pyjamas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dalkurd FF the free kick. Henrik Sellberg hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Bengt-Rune Isaksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dalkurd FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Rune Isaksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Ahlqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sven Nyström fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ninjas In Pyjamas's protests and gave Sven Nyström a yellow card for diving instead. Sven Nyström hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Dalkurd FF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
