A hard shot by Lucas Bergman from long distance, 3 minutes into the match, got Stefan Joensson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Richard Nyström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Finsberg got free with Stefan Joensson in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Petter Strand put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Karl Falkrans. In the 23rd minute, Tomas Finsberg made a precise shot to the right of Stefan Joensson. Kyrkhult's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 30th minute Svante Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Joensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Joensson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicklas Norberg in the 36th minute. Tomas Finsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Joensson having to interfere. Stefan Joensson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Svante Petersson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 41 minute of play. Petter Strand blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl Falkrans having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Frillesås's Henning Bergdal got a free kick in the 54th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Kyrkhult's goal looked a bit too open when Svante Petersson came free, but Stefan Joensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Richard Nyström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl Falkrans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petter Strand in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Frillesås's Svante Petersson got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 83 minutes of play Frillesås's Henning Bergdal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 84th minute, Henning Bergdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petter Strand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Karl Falkrans made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, Petter Strand had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl Falkrans. Frillesås's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petter Strand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petter Strand got free with Karl Falkrans in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Petter Strand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
