Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Furusund's goalkeeper Frank Håkansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erland Pihlgren. Johan Rang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Uno Skog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute Erland Pihlgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Håkansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sorunda IFK's Uno Skog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Stenman in the 26th minute of play. Christian Pettersson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Frank Håkansson made a huge save. Uno Skog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Eckegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Håkansson made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Christian Pettersson sent off a good shot on target. If Rune Eckegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the game, Sorunda IFK's Christian Pettersson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frank Håkansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 48th minute, Rune Eckegren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erland Pihlgren was the one to do the kick off. Christian Pettersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Håkansson having to interfere. After having played for 55 minutes, Erland Pihlgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sorunda IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erland Pihlgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erland Pihlgren took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frank Håkansson. Frank Håkansson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 60 played minutes Furusund got a freekick which was hit by Erland Albäck. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Christian Pettersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sorunda IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Pettersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Håkansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 64 minutes, Tord Hellsing mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Furusund and the Sorunda IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erland Pihlgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute Christian Pettersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Håkansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Håkansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Pettersson's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johan Rang got free with Uno Skog in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sorunda IFK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Johan Rang scored to the left of an out of position Uno Skog, making the score, 2-1. After 88 played minutes Furusund got a freekick which was hit by Anders Stenman. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sorunda IFK had won after a very even match.
