The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Stavsjö FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Oskar Drake to maneuver through the defense. If Rickard Spetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Hedenäset FF's Morgan Möller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felix Groth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Johan Hellbom kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Hedenäset FF's Uno Markusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Österberg in the 13th minute of play. Rickard Spetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Groth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Spetz, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Stavsjö FF's Karl-Michael Mogren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Uno Markusson. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. Karl-Michael Mogren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Uno Markusson made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Morgan Möller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Groth was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 36th minute, Rickard Spetz made a precise shot to the right of Felix Groth. Stavsjö FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Rickard Spetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Groth having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Oskar Drake was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute of the match, Morgan Möller got a very nice opportunity to score, but Felix Groth was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Felix Groth made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Morgan Möller sent off a good shot on target. Morgan Möller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rickard Spetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Groth having to interfere. Karl-Michael Mogren's late challenge caught a Hedenäset FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Michael Mogren helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Stavsjö FF getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Karl-Michael Mogren hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Ulrik Ahlquist notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Hedenäset FF's Uno Markusson. Uno Markusson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felix Groth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Spetz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uno Markusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrik Ahlquist in the 88th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Hedenäset FF's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Oskar Drake came free, but Uno Markusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Stavsjö FF's goalkeeper Felix Groth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Morgan Möller. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
