After a defensive mix-up in Djurgården's zone, Johannes Fagerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Kielstedt came out of the goal and Johannes Fagerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Fagerberg in the 20th minute of play forced Djurgården's goalkeeper Philip Kielstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Johannes Fagerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nordmaling RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johannes Fagerberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars-Erik Åberg during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lars-Erik Åberg hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Nordmaling RK's Henry Månsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Nordmaling RK from getting a goal against them. If John Forss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johannes Fagerberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Djurgården got a freekick which was hit by Bo Fransson. Stig-Ove Hedlund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Philip Kielstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Stig-Ove Hedlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Djurgården's Philip Kielstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Djurgården from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Nordmaling RK's Stig-Ove Hedlund slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Philip Kielstedt. That made the score 0-1 after 63 minutes of play. After 65 played minutes Nordmaling RK got a freekick which was hit by Lars-Erik Åberg. If Daniel Kilström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nordmaling RK's Johannes Fagerberg got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Philip Kielstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Fagerberg in the 73rd minute of the match. A collision led to Nordmaling RK getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. David Biörnberg hit a great ball. Djurgården's Bo Fransson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nordmaling RK. If Johannes Fagerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philip Kielstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Fagerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Sivert Sjöberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes, Djurgården's Bo Fransson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Henry Månsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Djurgården reached it. Stig-Ove Hedlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Kilström in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henry Månsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Nordmaling RK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
