Robin Jonasson kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Magnus Pilblad made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Paul Martinsson sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 29 minutes, Evert Nyström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kyrkesund IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evert Nyström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evert Nyström in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Åke Ahlfors prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute, Klas Tunberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Klas Tunberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 54th minute Klas Tunberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Ahlfors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Dals Långed booed when Kyrkesund IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egon Hedvall didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th match minute, Kyrkesund IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Verner Eklund to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klas Tunberg in the 76th minute of play forced Dals Långed's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Ahlfors to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magnus Pilblad had in the 92ndth minute some difficulties stopping Svante Bjursell's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Paul Martinsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dals Långed's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Martinsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magnus Pilblad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torbjörn Gadd kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Eric Nyberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
