The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Valter Gunnarsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edvard Danielsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Michael Olsmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Martinsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Peder Klintæus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Jakob Böcklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute of the match Kristian Karlberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johan Kvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. FC Widén's Michael Olsmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peder Klintæus in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, FC Widén's Valter Gunnarsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 27 minutes into the game, Malå's Michel Martinsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michael Olsmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Malå's Johan Kvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Malå from getting a goal against them. Edvard Danielsson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 34th playminute. After 43 played minutes, FC Widén's Börje Larsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Johan Kvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Widén reached it. Michel Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Michael Olsmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peder Klintæus to strike the kick off in the second half. FC Widén's Michael Olsmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peder Klintæus in the 52nd minute of play. Johan Kvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valter Gunnarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Widén's Michael Olsmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save FC Widén from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the match, FC Widén's goal looked a bit too open when Peder Klintæus came free, but Michael Olsmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd play minute Michel Martinsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Michael Olsmann. 2-2. Peder Klintæus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Olsmann having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Martinsson got free with Michael Olsmann in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edvard Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Kvist having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Valter Gunnarsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johan Kvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. A collision led to FC Widén getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Sven-Åke Walroth hit a great ball. Johan Kvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valter Gunnarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
