Jan-Olof Åkerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidar Ek in the 6th minute of play. Vidar Ek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jan-Olof Åkerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Bälinge IF getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Henry Lindmark hit a great ball. Alex Bohlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Olof Åkerberg having to interfere. Alex Bohlin took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Olof Åkerberg. Jan-Olof Åkerberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 38 played minutes Swedish Batallion KFOR got a freekick which was hit by Reine Emander. In the 42nd minute, Måns Håning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Alex Bohlin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Olof Åkerberg was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Jan-Olof Åkerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Bohlin in the 46th minute of the match. Alex Bohlin might have been able to make a better finish in the 49th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Olof Åkerberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alex Bohlin ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vidar Ek to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 57 minutes, Christer Pihlblad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swedish Batallion KFOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christer Pihlblad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Swedish Batallion KFOR booed when Bälinge IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvard Hjortsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vidar Ek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute of the match Folke Engström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan-Olof Åkerberg skillfully saved the ball. Alex Bohlins short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Jan-Olof Åkerberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 78th match minute, Swedish Batallion KFOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Måns Håning to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute Vidar Ek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Olof Åkerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alex Bohlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Swedish Batallion KFOR's Jan-Olof Åkerberg got control of the ball when Alex Bohlin tried to sneak it across the goal line.
