In the 14th match minute, Sjömarkens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erland Klint to maneuver through the defense. Kennet Sandwall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Vase in the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, IK Skredsvik's Edward Bohlin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Karl-Axel Kielstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Nils-Erik Örtendal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 30 in the game by Edward Bohlin from a close distance when the talented Nils-Erik Örtendal managed to make a qualified save. Sjömarkens IF's players were relieved. 31 minutes into the match, IK Skredsvik's Olov Asserlindh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils-Erik Örtendal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Olov Asserlindh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Bohlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of IK Skredsvik booed when Sjömarkens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Arne Gummeson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sjömarkens IF's Nils-Erik Örtendal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Sjömarkens IF from getting a goal against them. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for IK Skredsvik! Jan-Åke Vallgren shot the penalty kick right outside the post.

In the 54thth minute of the game Edward Bohlin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sjömarkens IF's Nils-Erik Örtendal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Bohlin in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils-Erik Örtendal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute, Villiam Malm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Edward Bohlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredrik Vase hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Nils-Erik Örtendal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Bohlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute Edward Bohlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Örtendal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Bohlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Erik Örtendal having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sjömarkens IF's Erland Klint got a free kick in the 85th minute. When Edward Bohlin came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the IK Skredsvik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Bohlin couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the game, Evert Nordlund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Nils-Erik Örtendal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Karl-Axel Kielstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Erik Örtendal having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Olov Asserlindh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IK Skredsvik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olov Asserlindh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 98th minute Edward Bohlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Örtendal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. IK Skredsvik fully deserved thier win.
