Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ulf Haegg took the kick off in the first half of the match. Olle Ivarsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reine Sjögren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. If Ulf Haegg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars Bagge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Haegg, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Torbjörn Björnsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Lars Bagge skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lars Bagge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulf Haegg went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Manfred Tingelholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Lars Bagge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Torbjörn Björnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vitaby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torbjörn Björnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Samuel Josefsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Örby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vitaby the free kick. After a rather tough play, Örby's Samuel Josefsson got a free kick in the 36th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Vitaby's goal looked a bit too open when Holger Alfors came free, but Reine Sjögren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Olle Ivarsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reine Sjögren was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Torbjörn Björnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Lars Bagge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vitaby. Holger Alfors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Reine Sjögren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olle Ivarsson in the 80th minute of play forced Vitaby's goalkeeper Reine Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimmy Hedin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Torbjörn Björnsson came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Vitaby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torbjörn Björnsson couldn't finish the play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
