The tension between the Rolfstorp and the Haninge BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Henry Biörkquist hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Rolfstorp's Calle Runberg got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt-Åke Törnkvist in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Michael Bjurström saved Rolfstorp from getting behind. Fritz Klintæus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Michael Bjurström having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Robert Berg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haninge BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rolfstorp the free kick. After a rather tough play, Haninge BK's Robert Berg got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Bengt-Åke Törnkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rolfstorp's zone, Bengt-Åke Törnkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Michael Bjurström came out of the goal and Bengt-Åke Törnkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haninge BK's Bengt-Åke Törnkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Rolfstorp getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Freddie Sjö hit a great ball. Fritz Klintæus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Michael Bjurström having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Haninge BK's goal looked a bit too open when Calle Runberg came free, but Isaac Sjöö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bengt-Åke Törnkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Calle Runberg to make the kick off. Isaac Sjöö showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calle Runberg in the 53rd minute of the match. With his leg Karl-Michael Bjurström managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Haninge BK's Bengt-Åke Törnkvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Karl-Michael Bjurström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Åke Törnkvist in the 58th minute. Karl-Michael Bjurström made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Bengt-Åke Törnkvist sent off a good shot on target. If Bengt-Åke Törnkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
