The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gustaf Alebom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Eric Qvarnström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leonardo Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konrad Åkesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Vallander in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Älmeboda's goalkeeper Eric Qvarnström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaf Alebom. In the 23rdth minute of the game Tommy Olofsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PhreeBirdz ff's Konrad Åkesson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Olofsson in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Konrad Åkesson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andreas Skytt's late challenge caught a Älmeboda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andreas Skytt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, PhreeBirdz ff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Skytt to maneuver through the defense. Eric Qvarnström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaf Alebom went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Älmeboda's Tommy Olofsson got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 42 minutes, Leonardo Hansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PhreeBirdz ff and the Älmeboda players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, PhreeBirdz ff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Hansson to maneuver through the defense. Victor Vallander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tommy Olofsson came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Älmeboda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Olofsson couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the match, Leonardo Hansson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Älmeboda's Eric Qvarnström. Eric Qvarnström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Leonardo Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. PhreeBirdz ff's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Hansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Qvarnström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henrik Gustavsson hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Älmeboda's Eric Qvarnström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claes Kilberg in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Victor Vallander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Hansson in the 74th minute of play forced Älmeboda's goalkeeper Eric Qvarnström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 minutes, Henrik Gustavsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Älmeboda and the PhreeBirdz ff players grew even worse after the yellow card. Henrik Gustavsson hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Älmeboda's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Hansson came free, but Eric Qvarnström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Leonardo Hansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Qvarnström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Östen Vibjörnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PhreeBirdz ff fans cheered their team off the field, for while Älmeboda had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
