Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Albert Svensson made the kick off and thus started the match. Albert Svensson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jan-Erik Klementsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Albert Svensson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. Älvsered's Olov Nyström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Åström in the 9th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Älvsered's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Västlund came free, but Olov Nyström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Berg could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Jan-Erik Klementsson however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Älvsbyn's zone, Albert Svensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Erik Klementsson came out of the goal and Albert Svensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olov Pettersson hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. When Älvsered's Albert Svensson in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Älvsbyn's goalie prevented a goal. Älvsered's Olov Nyström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Åström in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Folke Åström in the 33rd minute of play forced Älvsered's goalkeeper Olov Nyström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Folke Åström to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Folke Åström in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olov Nyström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute, Älvsbyn's Folke Åström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Folke Åström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Olov Nyström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Albin Johansson fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Älvsered's protests and gave Albin Johansson a yellow card for diving instead. Albin Johansson kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Daniel Berg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Erik Klementsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 played minutes Älvsbyn got a freekick which was hit by Olov Pettersson. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Älvsbyn:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Älvsered:s goal. In the 77th play minute Börje Ambjörnsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Olov Nyström. 2-3. Jan-Erik Klementsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Berg in the 81st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Folke Åström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Älvsbyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Folke Åström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olov Nyström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olov Nyström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Åström in the 87th minute of play. If Douglas Västlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fritz Stenström fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Älvsered's protests and gave Fritz Stenström a yellow card for diving instead. Älvsbyn's Folke Åström got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Älvsbyn left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Älvsered.
