Lennart Larsson charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lennart Larsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lennart Larsson hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Karl-Michael Bohlin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Björkqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Ryda's goalkeeper Victor Björkqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rudolf Dahlqvist hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Åkesson in the 45th minute of play forced FC Ryda's goalkeeper Victor Björkqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Ryda's goalkeeper Victor Björkqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Gunnar Åkesson made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Michael Bohlin in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Björkqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 60 minutes into the game, Rudolf Dahlqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Ryda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grimstorp IK the free kick. When Edward Ivarsson came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the FC Ryda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Ivarsson couldn't finish the play. Stig-Ove Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gunnar Åkesson in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Björkqvist saved FC Ryda from getting behind. Victor Björkqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Michael Bohlin in the 88th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes Edward Ivarsson rounded Grimstorp IK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. 93 minutes into the game, Jörgen Spetz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grimstorp IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Ryda the free kick.
