The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Malcolm Fransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Allbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Adrian Lagerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Fransson having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, Murtssons Mastodonter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Hellström to maneuver through the defense. When Murtssons Mastodonter's Simon Fogel, in the 13th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Murtssons Mastodonter. Viktor Allbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Malcolm Fransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Murtssons Mastodonter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Hellström to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Lagerberg in the 19th minute of play forced Murtssons Mastodonter's goalkeeper Malcolm Fransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Nyström's late challenge caught a Fjälkinge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Nyström helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 played minutes Murtssons Mastodonter got a freekick which was hit by Elias Nyström. If Simon Fogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malcolm Fransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Lagerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Adrian Lagerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fjälkinge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Lagerberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simon Fogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvid Hjelm having to interfere. Per-Erik Samuelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvid Hjelm having to interfere. When Simon Fogel came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Murtssons Mastodonter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Fogel couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute, Viktor Allbom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fjälkinge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Malcolm Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Allbom in the 39th minute of play. Malcolm Fransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Lagerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Michel Strömqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th minute, Adrian Lagerberg made a precise shot to the right of Malcolm Fransson. Murtssons Mastodonter's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Murtssons Mastodonter players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fjälkinge were winning 0-2.

Arvid Hjelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Fogel in the 66th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Simon Fogel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Murtssons Mastodonter's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Fogel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arvid Hjelm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th match minute, Murtssons Mastodonter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvard Hedin to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Lagerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Fransson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Fogel in the 82nd minute of play forced Fjälkinge's goalkeeper Arvid Hjelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Joacim Billström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Murtssons Mastodonter booed when Fjälkinge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Skog didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arvid Hjelm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Per-Erik Samuelsson went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute Viktor Allbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcolm Fransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Bernt Hellström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 100th minute, Simon Fogel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Murtssons Mastodonter fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
