After having played for 6 minutes, Lennart Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TSV Grün-Weiß Borussia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lennart Fredriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Lennart Fredriksson sped through Dingle BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jon Hedlund. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Grelsson in the 20th minute of play forced TSV Grün-Weiß Borussia's goalkeeper Rune Klintæus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The nice shot from Karl-Axel Hammarberg in the 24thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Rune Klintæus had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The supporters of Dingle BK booed when TSV Grün-Weiß Borussia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Vikström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, TSV Grün-Weiß Borussia's goalkeeper Rune Klintæus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thor Grelsson. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Dingle BK's goalkeeper Jon Hedlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lennart Fredriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Harman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jon Hedlund. Dingle BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lennart Fredriksson to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Wikander charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Wikander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thor Grelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Klintæus having to interfere. After a rather tough play, TSV Grün-Weiß Borussia's Magnus Sundström got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Karl-Axel Hammarberg came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Dingle BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Axel Hammarberg couldn't finish the play. After 70 played minutes Dingle BK got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Wikander. Jonathan Wikander hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Lennart Fredriksson in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jon Hedlund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 79 minutes, Thor Grelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dingle BK and the TSV Grün-Weiß Borussia players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Lennart Fredriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thor Grelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The TSV Grün-Weiß Borussia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
