A collision led to Bjuråker getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Christian Hellström hit a great ball. Eric Hägert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Ivar Kilström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eric Hägert in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivar Kilström saved Yxlan IK from getting behind. If Richard Forsell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the match, Bjuråker's goal looked a bit too open when Herman Adelsköld came free, but Mikael Åström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bjuråker getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Daniel Haeger hit a great ball. Richard Forsell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the game, Stig-Åke Ahlbom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bjuråker's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yxlan IK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bjuråker's Stig-Åke Ahlbom got a free kick in the 30th minute. Daniel Haeger was shown his second yellow card after 35 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 35th minute, Daniel Haeger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Bjuråker's Mikael Åström got control of the ball when Richard Forsell tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Bernt Sellberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yxlan IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernt Sellberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 41 played minutes Bjuråker got a freekick which was hit by Eric Hägert. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Adelsköld in the 45th minute of play forced Bjuråker's goalkeeper Mikael Åström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Hellström was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute, Kjell-Arne Wennerqvist sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bjuråker's Mikael Åström didn't even have to move. A collision led to Bjuråker getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Eric Hägert hit a great ball. Bjuråker's Mikael Åström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herman Adelsköld in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Adelsköld in the 70th minute of play forced Bjuråker's goalkeeper Mikael Åström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herman Adelsköld took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mikael Åström. Mikael Åström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Mikael Åström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herman Adelsköld, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Christian Hellström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th match minute, Yxlan IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Åke Bålström to maneuver through the defense. When Christian Hellström came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Bjuråker fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Hellström couldn't finish the play. When Bernt Sellberg fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yxlan IK's protests and gave Bernt Sellberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Bernt Sellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yxlan IK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bjuråker for a fine match.
