Rudolf Bergren made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Algot Lundqvist sent off a good shot on target. Rudolf Bergren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josef Björk in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute, Josef Björk reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rudolf Bergren. The goal made the score 1-1. A wasted opportunity for RC FC. 15 minutes into the game, Daniel Hellkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ätran BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RC FC the free kick. Daniel Hellkvist hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Josef Björk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tom Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 played minutes Ätran BF got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Hellkvist. After 30 played minutes, RC FC's Birger Söderquist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rudolf Bergren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RC FC reached it. In the 31st minute, Daniel Hellkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josef Björk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of RC FC booed when Ätran BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Holmstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind RC FC's goalkeeper Konrad Hultstrand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Linus Larsfält to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Linus Larsfält shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Bergren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josef Björk in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rudolf Bergren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tom Håkansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 minutes, George Isaksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ätran BF and the RC FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of RC FC booed when Ätran BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Isaksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josef Björk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Bergren having to interfere. RC FC's Konrad Hultstrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Grönlund in the 65th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Linus Larsfält's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rudolf Bergren was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Rudolf Bergren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Larsfält, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th match minute, Ätran BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilhelm Vall to maneuver through the defense. RC FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
