Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stig Sandström took the kick off in the first half of the match. Haverdal RK's Michael Kolberg pulled a muscle in his leg after 5 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Jon Fågel charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jon Fågel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th match minute, FC 1977 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Fågel to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Haverdal RK's Stig Sandström got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Tony Ståhlman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Haverdal RK got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Ahlbom. FC 1977's Valter Nordström got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valter Nordström in the 31st minute of play forced Haverdal RK's goalkeeper Stellan Askstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes of play, FC 1977's Bengt-Arne Björk made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stellan Askstedt was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute, Tony Ståhlman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tony Ståhlman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jack Hafström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After 42 minutes of play FC 1977's Jon Fågel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After some careless play in the FC 1977 defense, Tony Ståhlman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jack Hafström. The FC 1977 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jack Hafström should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bengt-Arne Björk to make the kick off. Bengt-Arne Björk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stellan Askstedt having to interfere. When Tony Ståhlman came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Haverdal RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Ståhlman couldn't finish the play. Matthias Björkqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Stellan Askstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony Ståhlman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Hafström having to interfere. After having played for 72 minutes, Tony Ståhlman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haverdal RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Ståhlman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matthias Björkqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes FC 1977 got a freekick which was hit by Valter Nordström. If Tony Ståhlman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute Tony Ståhlman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Hafström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Haverdal RK's Bernt Ahlbom got a free kick in the 85th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Stig Sandström notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC 1977's Jack Hafström. Jack Hafström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC 1977's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
