Per-Åke Söderberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gunnar Axelsson having to make a save. Folke Kielstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gunnar Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunnar Axelsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Folke Kielstedt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Young Boys Häggnäset had played much better football throughout.
