Erik Fristedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Almstedt in the 3rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Folke Kielstedt in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stefan Gerdberg saved Älvsered from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Älvsered's zone, Folke Kielstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Gerdberg came out of the goal and Folke Kielstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Young Boys Häggnäset's Erik Fristedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Young Boys Häggnäset from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Young Boys Häggnäset's Erik Fristedt got control of the ball when Hugo Mossberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Älvsered getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ulf Juhlin hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Folke Kielstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Gerdberg was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Ulrik Forsberg's late challenge caught a Young Boys Häggnäset's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The wind increased when Folke Kielstedt made the kick off in the second half. Tobias Löfgren kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Alfons Biörkman took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Stefan Gerdberg to make any attempt to save it. Stefan Gerdberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfons Biörkman in the 58th minute. Jimmy Bengtsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Stefan Gerdberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Kurt Almstedt made a precise shot to the right of Erik Fristedt. Young Boys Häggnäset's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Folke Kielstedt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stefan Gerdberg. That made the score 1-2 in the 68 minute of play. Folke Kielstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Älvsered's goal looked a bit too open when Osvald Norberg came free, but Stefan Gerdberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1-3 became the score in the 81st minute when Folke Kielstedt elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Young Boys Häggnäset's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Mossberg came free, but Erik Fristedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Folke Kielstedt in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Gerdberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Älvsered's Stefan Gerdberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Åke Söderberg in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Folke Kielstedt lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Stefan Gerdberg. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Folke Kielstedt in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stefan Gerdberg saved Älvsered from getting behind. The Älvsered fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Young Boys Häggnäset were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
